Rockwaves with Paul Blackmoore

Most of you will know me from my Thursday evening slot 6pm – 8pm presenting Paul Blackmoore’s Rockwaves Request Show playing everything from heavy metal to folk and pretty much every guitar-based genre in between.

I grew up on a musical diet of Deep Purple, Rainbow and Whitesnake and my love for all things heavy has not diminished in over 50 years.

I go to the Cartagena Rock Imperium every every June with my 2 sons where the latest and the greatest Rock musicians gather for a 4 -day festival with over 100,000 fans enjoying the sun, the music and of course the beer!

I have been lucky enough to see such bands as Judas Priest, Europe, Jethro Tull, The Scorpions and Kiss there over the years and am very much looking forward to seeing The Cult there in 2025.

I have a beautiful 10-year-old Frenchie called Benny (pictured below) who is a rescue form the UK who I was initially supposed to foster for just a week….8 years ago! He and his brother Frankie (Yes Frankie and Benny!) travelled over from the UK to Spain 6 years ago. Sadly, though Frankie went to wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge last year and as any dog lover knows, that was a very hard time.

When not enjoying all things Rock, I can be found fulfilling my duties as Practice Principle and UK Director for Thy Will Be Done who are specialist UK and Spanish Will, Trust, Power of Attorney and legal deed writers as well as low cost practitioners  for Spanish and UK probate Spanish and we are now the number one choice for UK expats throughout Spain.
